Sharmadean started a fanzine called WAH, a reaction to the wave of bootyshaking videos in 2004, in order to promote females in creative industries. With three successful issues sent to “Downtown Girls Worldwide”, Sharmadean took it online, as one of the pioneers of blog culture.

Sophie Slater is a 26 year old activist and co-founder of ethical, feminist fashion label Birdsong is powered by women's charities who make beautiful garments, with an ethos of "no sweatshops and no photoshop." When she's not working on her brand, she occasionally runs workshops on body positivity, confidence and zine making for women and girls.

Prior to launching Bumble in the UK in 2015, Louise led brand development for music artists in LA in addition to supporting work with Google.
